Worldwide impact

I just got off the phone with my mother who said that immediately after the election results were announced, people calling her from Nigeria. They were calling all through the wee hours of the night. That is the middle of the night for them, yet they were awake waiting to hear the results.

It amazes me that so many people worldwide are so into this - but it is also inspiring. I saw a headline today that said something along the line of it might soon be cool again to be an American.

  1. The world is sick of the Bush regime and terrified of it as well. Even our troops in Iraq were glued to the TV and overjoyed that Barack won. They want to get the hell our of there.

Man, Obama is like a light for the world. I pray to God he undo the damage... gonna a take a long time, though, and his haters are already dreaming and scheming on how to undermine him simply because he's black. Morons. Never before have I appreciated so deeply that hate and jealousy consumes and destroys common sense and the person obsessed with it as much I have this year.

Eff 'em. We Baracked it! Yes We Did!
