Headaches and hair

It's Tuesday.

It's dreary.  It's colder than I have suitable clothes for, and I have a headache.  Only thing worse will be if it starts to rain on me on the walk to the train and then to the apartment.

But, I will put on a mask and make people think I am ok as I head home to try and figure out what to do with my hair.  Looking in the mirror for two hours last night did not produce any ideas for improvement.

Luckily, people at school were really nice and said nothing mean about me.

I actually started to wonder about their sanity as I was actually complimented during each period and before school by students and teachers.  I guess people are really nicer than I tend to imagine.

    1. Definitely! They were all so nice, even today when I saw people I didn't see yesterday.

      Thanks for the invite!

  2. From one headache to another 'let's do one and party else where!' Ok so I only wish it was that simple.

On another note, maybe it isn't as bad as you think it is?! I'm sure you will work it out.

    1. Wish it was that simple... fortunately, mine go away after a few hours.

I think I am getting used to the hair. When I manipulate it in different ways, I can mask the strange football shape.

  3. Well, I'm sorry about your headache. I hope it gets better. I hope you get to the train and apartment without it raining. And I hope your mirror is nicer to you tonight!

    1. Thanks. A little product, some artful hands, and a creative mind will do the trick with the hair.

  4. yes people are nicer than we think on many occasions, I am sorry to hear you are not prepared for the weather change that is never a welcoming thing if you are like me & hate to buy new stuff.

    1. They really are nice.

I think I can make it a few more weeks without buying anything. The goal is to make it to Thanksgiving when I can (hopefully) go to StL and bring my winter clothes... there will be lots of layering, and scarves.

    1. Thanks. It is getting better with the hair. I'm going to try a few things this weekend when I have more time and see how it looks.
