I have a minister friend who saw a check out person tell someone off the other day for saying Merry Christmas to him.
I'm really not sure what this world is coming to but it needs some changing soon! That cartoon isn't all that unbelievable i'm afraid, sad but true!! Hope you had a good Christmas...
That made me laugh! Although, I guess if I wanted to, I could see the irony in it as Santa Claus and God and many other things that many of us believe in are being devalued and mocked. But, instead, I choose to laugh this morning at this!!! Thanks!
This cracked me up! Hope you are having a great holiday here in NYC. I am going to Lincoln Ctr on Sat wit my niece to see the Nutcracker (she is 8 and has been doing ballet since age 3...should be a nice evening...)
Thanks! I have done some touristy things for the first time since my brother was in town (went up to Empire State on the windiest, coldest day since I have been in town; went to the main, underground, Apple Store; went to the WTC memorial; walked in new areas).
It has been a great holiday!
I hope you and your niece enjoyed the Nutcracker - I used to love playing the music when I was in band!

It is really a shame what people get (and don't get) upset about!

ReplyDeleteIt could definitely be seen as a mockery, but, I take it for the comedic side, as you did!
